SMART SHADE MOTOR (BLE)
- Download the APP: Smart Life -Smart Living or Tuya Smart
Android:
IOS:
- Press “+” and “Add Device”
- Press the “Reset” button once to turn the unit on
- Then press the “Reset” button 4 times until the LED flashes to enter pairing.
- Select “Blinds Motor”
- Select “Done”
If you do not see the “Start Study” - Select the Gear icon at the top right of your screen
- Select “reset” and the select “confirm”
- Select the “back arrow” at the top left of your screen
⚠ Make sure your shades are FULLY OPEN before the next step. ⚠
Do not close your shade.
Ignore the app prompt.
Your open position has been set.
We will now set your closing position.
If your device is on the right of the window, select “Forward“
If your device is on the left of the window, select “Reverse“
- Click “Start Study” and your shades will begin to close…
- Once shades are fully closed press “Stop Study”
- Then select “Confirm”.

No Wi-Fi necessary – AURA SmartShade is Bluetooth enabled which mean it can be controlled via the app. It has been set up with local control options that don’t rely on a Wi-Fi connection. For specific features this will require the use of a TUYA hub.
The maximum load capacity of the AURA SmartShade is: 5 kg with a tube diameter of 38 mm and 3.7 kg with a tube diameter of 28 mm.
The torque of the AURA SmartShade is 0.45 Nm.
Press and hold the reset button on the bottom of the device for 20 seconds OR you can use the App to reset the device.
The AURA SmartShade does not (opening/closing) after unit is powered-off. This means that once power is lost, the curtain cannot be manually adjusted until power is restored and the device is operational again.
